On Point Education Centre was founded in 2020 by Sir Mago, a passionate educator with a vision to bring world-class, values-based education to Tete, Mozambique. What began as a bold dream has grown into a thriving Cambridge International school that nurtures children from Early Childhood Development through to IGCSE — preparing them not just for exams, but for life.
Today, On Point is a community where learners of every age grow and rise together in the spirit of African Ubuntu and Christian faith — taught in English, guided by the Cambridge Curriculum, and led by our founder and principal, Sir Mago.

Our unique English Excellence Programme helps Portuguese-speaking learners reach functional English proficiency in just 2-3 months — a proven differentiator in Mozambique.
English is our language of instruction across every subject. For a child arriving from a Portuguese-speaking home or school, that can feel daunting — so we begin with structured immersion, patient one-to-one support, and daily practice until English becomes natural. Parents are often surprised at how quickly their children begin to speak, read, and think in English.

Our teachers are qualified, patient, and genuinely invested in every child who walks through our gates. They teach the Cambridge Curriculum in English, support learners moving across from Portuguese, and know each child by name — because a class is not a crowd, it is a group of individuals.
